Village of Ashcroft
The Village of Ashcroft was incorporated in 1952. Ashcroft is the only true desert in Canada, based mainly on annual rainfall and water evaporation. The community is a popular destination for film productions due to its unique topography, and is home to the largest inland port in B.C.
