Kamloops, BC – March 26, 2024 – Applications are now open for the Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) Spring 2024 Grant-in-Aid program intake, and submissions will be accepted until May 1, 2024.
The Regional Grant-in-Aid program aims to support cultural, environmental, and recreational programs and special events that benefit communities in the TNRD.
Non-profit organizations operating within the TNRD can apply for up to $5,000 in funding for a project or event that benefits the Thompson-Nicola region and enhances quality of life for residents.
In 2024, the annual Grant-in-Aid program funding has increased from $20,000 to $50,000 as approved by the TNRD Board of Directors. This means that up to $25,000 can be awarded during each application intake. Eligible applications are reviewed by the TNRD’s Regional Grants Committee and funding awards are approved by the TNRD Board.
