Notice of Intent: Temporary Use Permit 73 (Upper Clearwater)

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it intends to issue Temporary Use Permit (TUP) 73 during the regular Board Meeting on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 1:30 pm.

What is Temporary Use Permit 73?

TUP 73 will enable a seasonal mobile food cart to operate from April to September for another 3 years at 5797 Clearwater Valley Rd, located in Upper Clearwater in Electoral Area “A” (Wells Gray Country). The food cart has been operating since 2018, selling coffee and ice cream between April and September.

Make a Submission

All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed Temporary Use Permit and wish to comment may do so by making a written submission to the Board of Directors using the contact options listed below. All written submissions must be received at the TNRD Civic Building main office prior to 12:00 pm on May 16, 2024. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form a part of the public record.

How Do I Get More Information?

A copy of the proposed Temporary Use Permit and all supporting information can be inspected between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) at the TNRD Civic Building main office from April 26, 2024 until 1:30 pm on May 16, 2024.
