Accessibility Feedback
Report an accessibility issue, provide general feedback or experiences on accessibility, and share your thoughts on the TNRD Accessibility Plan once it’s completed.
Accessibility Plan Development
The purpose of the TNRD Accessibility Plan is to identify barriers to accessibility and inclusion that may be experienced by members of the public or TNRD staff. Barriers may be present in the built environment, information and communications, or the delivery of programs or services that are within the TNRD’s jurisdiction.
In 2023, following a public callout for committee members, an Accessibility Advisory Committee was formed to guide the creation of the TNRD Accessibility Plan.
Accessibility Plan Timeline
This Committee will advise the TNRD on what to include in the draft Accessibility Plan and actions to be taken.
For several months in 2023, the TNRD hosted a public survey on accessibility. This survey was an additional tool for feedback to the Accessibility Advisory Committee, in reviewing accessibility of TNRD facilities and digital spaces.Â

Feedback from stakeholders and members of the public will help inform the Accessibility Advisory Committee and the TNRD on accessibility in the TNRD’s physical and digital spaces, and help guide the creation of Accessibility Plan.
A draft of the TNRD Accessibility Plan will be created once public engagement opportunities have closed and feedback has been provided by the TNRD Accessibility Committee.Â
Prior to being presented to the TNRD Board of Directors, a draft of the Accessibility Plan will be presented to the Accessibility Advisory Committee for feedback and suggestions.
An online Accessibility Feedback Form has also been created.
The TNRD Board of Directors will be required to adopt the Accessibility Plan.
At this point, a permanent tool to receive public feedback on accessibility will be fully implemented by the TNRD. A public update will be provided when the Accessibility Plan is completed, encouraging the public to review the plan and provide feedback on accessibility.
