Water Meter Installations For Loon Lake To Start In November

Kamloops, BC—October 28, 2020—The TNRD is improving its water system infrastructure by installing water meters for all community water system users. Residents of Loon Lake are invited to join the TNRD on Monday, November 2nd from 6:30 – 8:30 pm to learn about their residential water meter installations, ask questions, and find about the next steps.

The meeting will be held at the Clinton Community Hall at 306 LeBourdais Street and streamed live on the TNRD’s Facebook page. Follow the TNRD on Facebook to receive a live event notification when the meeting begins, or click here to watch.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the Clinton Community Hall is limited to 50 people. One (1) resident per household may attend the meeting until maximum capacity of the hall is reached.

Residents are encouraged to join the meeting online with the option to phone in or email questions before, during, or after the meeting. Please direct your questions to Renata Harry, TNRD Project Manager, Water Metering Implementation by phone at 250-377-6301 or email rharry@tnrd.ca.

The TNRD and its designated contractor, ICONIX Waterworks, began installation of water meters for all water customers within the TNRD’s community water systems in October 2019. These new water meters will provide communities with improved water conservation and leak detection information, reduce the cost of operation, ensure fair billing, and improve access to grant funding.
