Notice of Public Hearings: Thursday, April 21, 2022

The Board of Directors will hold two public hearings on April 21, 2022 at 1:30 pm in the TNRD Civic Building boardroom, located at 300-465 Victoria St., Kamloops, BC, to consider proposed Bylaws No. 2770 and No. 2773.

What is Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2770, 2022?

Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2770 would allow a site-specific use on 4006 Shuswap Rd, zoned CR-1: Country Residential, to allow a meadery (alcohol production and processing) contained within the detached garage, limited to a maximum, size of 1,000 square feet, with no bistro or gift shop.

What is Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2773, 2022?

Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2773 would allow a site-specific use on 5565 Clearwater Valley Rd, zoned RL-1: Rural, to allow a full service guest ranch and campground use, permitting an increased number of sleeping units and acknowledging historic uses of the property.

All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed Bylaws shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to provide input at the Public Hearing. Anyone may also make written submissions on the matter of Bylaws Nos. 2770 & 2773, which must be received at our office prior to 12 pm on April 19, 2022. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form a part of the public record for this matter.
