The Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it will hold a Delegated Public Hearing on Monday, September 25, 2023 at 5:00 pm at the Westwold Community Hall, 5112 Hwy 97, Westwold, B.C., to consider proposed Temporary Use Permit 67, Bylaw 2816.
What is Temporary Use Permit 67, Bylaw 2816?
Temporary Use Permit (TUP) 67 would enable commercial motocross track use at 7229 Douglas Lake Rd, near Westwold, B.C. in Electoral Area “L” (Grasslands), as shows shared on the map below, for a period of up to three years. The specific temporary use conditions are stipulated in the proposed permit, as part of Bylaw 2816.
Make a Submission
All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed Bylaws shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing. Anyone may also make written submissions on the matter of Bylaw 2816 which must be received at the TNRD Civic Building main office prior to 12:00 pm on September 21, 2023. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form a part of the public record for this matter.

A copy of the proposed Bylaw and all supporting information can be inspected between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) at the TNRD Civic Building main office from September 1, 2023 until 4:00 pm on the day of the Public Hearing.
