Public Hearing: Zoning Amendment Bylaw 2839 (Blue River)

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it will hold a Public Hearing in the TNRD Civic Building Boardroom on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 1:30 pm to consider proposed Zoning Amendment Bylaw 2839.
What is Zoning Amendment Bylaw 2839?
It would rezone the affected property at 878 Harrwood Drive located in Blue River in Electoral Area “B” (Thompson Headwaters), from R-3: Residential Multi-Family to R-1: Residential Single and Duplex, to allow a single-family dwelling (manufactured home) for personal use.
Make a Submission
All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed Bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing. Anyone may also make written submissions on this matter, which must be received at the TNRD Civic Building main office prior to 12:00 pm on April 16, 2024. Anyone who wishes to present at the Hearing virtually (via Zoom) must contact Legislative Services prior to 12:00 pm on April 16, 2024. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form a part of the public record for this matter.

A copy of the proposed Bylaw and all supporting information can be inspected between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) at the TNRD Civic Building main office from March 25, 2024 until 1:30 pm on the day of the Public Hearing.
