The Board of Directors of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it will hold a virtual Public Hearing, to consider a proposed Liquor Primary Licence for a temporary work camp.

What is the purpose of this Notice of Intent for Liquor Licence Application No. LL 22?
This notice is to advise the public about a proposed liquor primary licence, more specifically as follows:
- Proposed Establishment: Merritt Camp Lounge
- Location: 3802 Ranchland Road, Upper Nicola
(Legal Description: District Lot 120 and District Lot 186, KDYD; PIDs: 012-979-007 & 012-979-066) - Purpose: for the Board to obtain input from the public regarding the proposal for a liquor primary licence at the pipeline project work camp to provide liquor service after-work hours to employees and camp guests.
- Details of proposal: Indoor seating capacity for ~288 persons (given non-COVID operating) with proposed hours of liquor service being 10 am to 9 pm on Sundays; 5 pm to 9 pm Mondays to Thursdays; and 5 pm to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
Written submissions are encouraged. Subject to making prior arrangements, individuals may call or video into the meeting live. Please contact TNRD Planning in advance of the meeting via the options below if you wish to present ‘live’.
All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed Licence shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity for input. They are encouraged to make written submissions on the matter of the proposed Liquor Primary Licence (via the options below) which must be received at our office prior to 4:30 pm on May 3rd, 2021. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form a part of the public record for this matter.
