The Thompson-Nicola Regional District is advising residents of facility hours of operation during the Canada Day long weekend.
Administration
TNRD administration offices are closed on Monday, July 3, 2023, and will reopen at 8:30 am on Tuesday, July 4 following the weekend. For utilities emergencies, please contact 250 318-7515.
Libraries
All Thompson-Nicola Regional Library branches are closed on Canada Day. The Kamloops and North Kamloops Library will be open with regular hours on July 3, 2023, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Garbage and Recycling
Please note all TNRD Eco-Depots and Transfer Stations are open with regular hours during the Canada Day long weekend. TNRD solid waste facilities are open on all statutory holidays except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day, with the exception of the Sun Peaks Transfer Station. Curbside collection of garbage and recycling will continue to operate as normal on July 3 in locations that receive curbside collection on Mondays. To view curbside collection schedules, visit: tnrd.ca/curbsidecollection.
