Administration
TNRD administration offices are closed on Monday, August 7, 2023, and will reopen at 8:30 am on Tuesday, August 8 following the weekend. For utilities emergencies, please contact 250 318-7515. For questions related to evacuation orders or alerts, contact the Emergency Operations Centre at 250 377-7188.
Libraries
All Thompson-Nicola Regional Library branches are closed on BC Day. The Kamloops and North Kamloops Libraries and Mobile Library stops will operate as usual during the weekend. For more information, please visit: tnrl.ca/locations.
Garbage and Recycling
Please note that TNRD solid waste facilities are open with regular hours on all statutory holidays, when applicable, aside from Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day, with the exception of the Sun Peaks Transfer Station.
The Lac Le Jeune Transfer Station remains on Evacuation Alert due to wildfire. At this time this site is planned to be open with regular hours during the weekend. For hours of operation for all Eco-Depots and Transfer Stations, please visit: tnrd.ca/depothours.
Curbside collection of garbage and recycling in Savona (businesses) and Tobiano (residences) will take place on Tuesday, August 8. Curbside collection for Avola and Blue River will continue to operate as normal on August 7. To view curbside collection schedules, visit: tnrd.ca/curbsidecollection.
