Kamloops, BC – May 29, 2020 – There’s no need to leave your living room to join the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library’s next set of interactive events. Teens ages 13-18 are invited to participate in three fun-filled programs from the comfort of their own computers!
“If you’ve been missing our in-person teen programs, our virtual programming is here to fill that void,” says Joey da Costa, Digital Services Librarian with the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library.
First up, teens have the chance to put their knowledge of popular music, movies, TV shows and books to the test in an all-out virtual trivia battle on Thursday, June 4th at 3:00 pm. “This is the ultimate way to prove your mastery of trivia to your friends,” says da Costa.
Fantasy fans unite for Dungeons & Dragons on Tuesday, June 9th at 3:00 pm. In this famous role-playing tabletop game, players will get to create fun characters, hang out with awesome people and explore a whole new world. There is no experience required for this creative gaming adventure..
Finally, teens can flex their problem-solving skills and get their blood pumping in a virtual escape room on Thursday, June 11th at 4:00 pm. Race to find clues, solve puzzles, and unlock mysteries as a team before the clock runs down.
Any teen interested in joining one (or all) of these events — either individually or with a friend or two — should email questions@tnrl.ca to get all the details and an official invite.
