Kamloops, BC – July 2, 2020 – Media and partners are invited to join us for a sign unveiling being held at the Laurie Guichon Memorial Grasslands Interpretive Site on Tuesday, July 7. In order to limit the number of people at public gatherings due to COVID-19, this event will not be open to the public.
The Laurie Guichon Memorial Grasslands Interpretive Site is an initiative that was developed by the Nicola Watershed Community Round Table and Grasslands Conservation Council of BC. The purpose of this initiative is to educate the public about the ecological, cultural, economic, historic, social, recreational and First Nations values of these grasslands.
This event is being held to formally unveil three new display panels that have been added to the kiosk area, acknowledge the contributing authors, and provide information about the ongoing efforts to continue the vision for the Laurie Guichon Memorial Grasslands Interpretive Site.
