Good Friday Office Closure
March 29
TNRD Administrative Offices will be closed on Friday, March 29, 2024 and Monday, April 1, 2024 to observe Good Friday and Easter Monday. Offices will reopen on Tuesday, April 2 at 8:30 am.
Libraries
All TNRD Libraries, including the Mobile Library, are closed on all statutory holidays in 2024.

Solid Waste Facilities
TNRD Eco-Depots and Transfer Stations are open with regular hours on all statutory holidays, when applicable, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day. (Note: Sun Peaks Transfer Stations remains open on all regularly-scheduled statutory holidays with no exceptions).

Curbside Collection
Electoral Area “B” (Avola and Blue River):
- Collection occurs as normal on all statutory holidays with the exception of Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.
Electoral Area “J” (Cherry Creek, Tobiano, and Savona):
- In 2024, following New Year’s Day, Family Day, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, BC Day, Labour Day, Truth & Reconciliation Day, Thanksgiving, and Remembrance Day, collection that regularly occurs on Mondays and Tuesdays is scheduled on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, respectively.
- In 2024, collection that regularly occurs on Thursdays is collected as normal with the exception as Thursday, December 26, when collection occurs on Friday, December 27.

For utilities emergencies affecting TNRD Community Water Systems or Community Sewer Systems, please call 250-318-7515.
- To be added to the Voyent Alert! notice list for your Community Water System, please contact utilityservices@tnrd.ca. Please provide your name, address, phone number(s), and the name of the water system.
