Day of Sucwentwecw at the Barriere StoryWalk®

Kamloops, BC—March 31, 2021— the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library (TNRL) is pleased to help celebrate the Day of Sucwentwecw on April 7th, 2021. 

In collaboration with Leeann Eustache, Aboriginal Education Worker at the Barriere Elementary School, the Barriere Library will install “How Coyote Lost the Animal People’s Voices,” Qiyenes re (written by) Kenthen Thomas, Secwepemc.

Visit Fadear Park in Barriere, BC from April 7-14, 2021 to enjoy and celebrate the Day of  Sucwentwecw all week long!
