Kamloops, BC – April 5, 2023 – The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) is inviting not-for-profit organizations and registered charities to apply for the Spring 2023 intake of the Regional Grant-in-Aid and Sponsorships program before the deadline of May 1, 2023.
The TNRD Regional Grant-in-Aid and Sponsorship program provides funding for not-for-profits for projects, events or services that have a broad benefit in communities and enhance quality of life for residents. Funding requests will often benefit arts and culture, economic development, the environment, heritage, sports and recreation, or other community or regional initiatives.
This stream of funding is open for not-for-profits in all TNRD Electoral Areas and Member Municipalities, and grant awarding is determined by the entire Board of Directors. The annual budget for this program is $20,000, and application intakes take place each spring and fall.
