Kamloops, BC – November 9, 2021 – the Thompson-Nicola Regional Library is pleased to offer a free screening of Freaks as part of its Screenwriter in Residence programming with Ken Hegan. Freaks is a highly-rated sci-fi thriller that co-stars Emile Hirsch and Bruce Dern. The film follows a young girl who is locked at home by her father before she learns the dangerous truth about the outside world. After the film, a live Q&A will be hosted by Ken and the directors to inspire attendees on their own filmmaking pursuits.
