TNRD Recyclable Materials Disposal Ban Survey

The purpose of this survey is to communicate and gather public feedback on the TNRD Mandatory Recyclable Material Bylaw No. 2743.  By participating in this survey, you will provide valuable information that will be used by the TNRD in the development and implementation of the bylaw. To learn more about this bylaw and consultation opportunities, please visit: tnrd.ca/mandatory-recycling.

This bylaw will prohibit the disposal of recyclable materials in all regional landfills.  Once fully implemented, residential and commercial customers can expect that any load of municipal solid waste containing recyclable materials will be subject to a financial penalty in addition to regular tipping fees.

All members of the public are encouraged to take this survey, which will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. This survey will be open until 11:59 pm on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.
