Kamloops, BC—August 15, 2021—TNRD Board Chair, Ken Gillis, with staff from the Thompson Nicola Regional District’s Emergency Operation Centre, will host a meeting for residents of the Monte Lake, Westwold, and Paxton Valley. The meeting will be at the Westwold Community Hall, Tuesday August 17, 2021 at 7:00PM.
The goal of this meeting is to discuss fire recovery and next steps for the residents and the communities affected by the White Rock Lake Wildfire. The TNRD is committed to assisting with the clean-up and rebuilding of the community that will take place over the coming months.
