Kamloops, BC – December 22, 2022 – Most Eco-Depots and Transfer Stations are closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, but the TNRD is reminding customers that several solid waste facilities will be open on statutory holidays this year.
Sun Peaks Transfer Station is open for regular hours on December 25, 26, 2022 and January 1, 2023. The following Transfer Stations will also be open with regular hours on January 1, 2023:
- Agate Bay Transfer Station
- Brookmere Transfer Station
- Eagan Lake Transfer Station
- Westwold Transfer Station
Regular hours apply for all other days during the holidays at TNRD solid waste facilities.
As a reminder, apart from Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day, TNRD solid waste facilities are open with regular hours on all other statutory holidays during each calendar year.
