On Saturday, May 28, 2022, qualified electors within Electoral Area “L” (Grasslands) and Electoral Area “P” (Rivers and the Peaks) were eligible to vote in the Monte Creek Fire Protection Service Referendum.
The preliminary declaration of results are as follows:

These preliminary results are based on the ballot accounts prepared at each of the above-mentioned voting places and are subject to the determination of the official assent voting results by the Chief Election Officer. Official assent voting results will be announced by the Chief Election Officer no later than 4 pm on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in accordance with the Local Government Act.
