Notice of Public Hearing: Thursday, October 15 at 1:15 pm

The Board of Directors of the Thompson-Nicola Regional District gives notice that it will hold a Public Hearing at the Sandman Centre in the Valley First Lounge (west side of the arena) at 300 Lorne St, Kamloops, BC, to consider proposed Bylaw No. 2721.

What is Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2721, 2020?

It amends Zoning Bylaw 2400 by rezoning the eastern 0.8 hectare portion of Lots 1 AND 2, both of District Lot 3062, KDYD, Plan EPP50073, (1.6 ha total) located at 5183 and 5189 Clearwater Valley Rd, Wells Gray, from RL-1: Rural to CR-1: Country Residential. The remainder at 5177 Clearwater Valley Road would remain zoned RL: Rural; as shown on the map below. Bylaw 2721 would enable a proposed subdivision (lot line adjustment) to create two 0.8 ha parcels and one 10.55 ha remainder parcel.

All persons who believe that their interest in property may be affected by the proposed Bylaw shall be afforded a reasonable opportunity to be heard at the Public Hearing. Additionally, they may make written submissions on the matter of Bylaw 2721 (via the options below) which must be received at our office prior to 9:00 a.m. on the 13th day of October, 2020. While written submissions are encouraged during this time, anyone wishing to attend the public hearing in person to speak may do so. Contact Planning Services before the Hearing to arrange access. The entire content of all submissions will be made public and form a part of the public record for this matter.

How do I get more information?

Copies of the proposed Bylaw and all supporting documents are available for viewing from September 25, 2020 to 1:15 pm the day of the Hearing.
