Kamloops, BC – October 20, 2022 – The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) is encouraging residents and property owners of Electoral Area “B” (Thompson Headwaters) to complete an online community survey and provide feedback on services.
This survey has been launched after TNRD staff held community meetings in Avola and Blue River on October 13, 2022. The survey is open until midnight on November 30, 2022, and can be accessed online by clicking here. The survey can also be accessed by visiting www.tnrd.ca/surveys. In June 2022, the Thompson Headwaters Committee was replaced with a broader public consultation process. As a result, the new Electoral Area “B” engagement process will include two community meetings per year, working groups that provide input to staff, a new webpage to share information and receive feedback, public surveys, and direct communication with residents.
The TNRD provides a number of services within Electoral Area “B” including radio rebroadcast, community halls, street lighting, cemeteries, tourism marketing, community parks and trails, Solid Waste, Emergency Programming, and more.
