Kamloops, BC—March 29, 2022 — The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) is hosting a community meeting in Little Fort to review the Latremouille Park improvement plan, which has been developed with input from residents.
The community meeting will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, starting at 6:30 pm, at the Little Fort Community Hall, located at 148 Hwy 24.
Residents are welcome to attend the community meeting. Staff from the TNRD and LA West Landscape Architecture will be attending, to provide information to residents and answer questions.
Design work for the Latremouille Park improvement plan has been completed by LA West Landscape Architecture.
The project is expected to include a new playground, a shaded picnic shelter, fencing, benches and picnic tables with concrete pads, a new community sign, and more. Construction is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2022.
Funding from a Community Benefit Agreement with Trans Mountain will go towards the project. Exact costs are expected to be determined later this spring.
