Ashcroft Library Upgrade – Request For Public Input

Kamloops, BC—October, 16, 2020—The Thompson-Nicola Regional Library (TNRL) is seeking feedback from Ashcroft and area residents regarding library services, programs and collections.

As identified in the TNRL’s Facilities Master Plan, Ashcroft Library will be receiving an upgrade to its interior space. The building, circa 1974, continues to see heavy use by area residents. The library’s exterior is sound, with newer roof and siding, and regular interior maintenance of carpeting and paint has been done on schedule; however, the interior floorplan and millwork has remained largely untouched. As form follows function, we’re inviting feedback from residents to hear how they would like to use the library and its services.

“It’s important for us to hear from patrons what they want to see ahead, and the feedback we receive will directly impact our planning for future use. It’s also important to hear from non-users who have lapsed memberships or residents who aren’t aware of the services we offer.” says Chief Librarian, Judy Moore

Please submit your feedback online at www.tnrl.ca, or fill out a paper survey at the Ashcroft and Cache Creek Libraries by November 13, 2020.
