TNRD Launches Interactive Map for Voting Locations & Information

Kamloops, BC – September 29, 2022 – The Thompson-Nicola Regional District (TNRD) has launched a new, easy-to-use interactive map to help voters find polling locations and other information for the 2022 TNRD General Local Elections.

Users can navigate the Voting Locations interactive map to learn about what voting options they have if they live within an Electoral Area, or on Reserve land within an Electoral Area, and where an election is taking place.

With the Voting Locations interactive map, users can:

  • Find dates, times and locations of voting opportunities for each Electoral Area
  • Search their property by Civic Address or Property Identifier (PID) to determine where they can vote
  • Access travel directions, if needed, through Google Maps, by clicking on any of the voting locations
  • Print or export the voting location list to PDF format, to print off or access on their device for future use
  • Click on any Reserve or Electoral Area to find voting locations

To view the Voting Locations interactive map on the TNRD General Local Elections webpage, click here.

Eligible Indigenous and non-Indigenous residents who live on Reserve land may vote in local elections for the Electoral Area where their Reserve is located. With this interactive map, users can click on any Reserve located within TNRD boundaries to find out which Electoral Area they are located in. For more information on electors living on reserve, click here.

Please note that only addresses and parcels within unincorporated communities (Electoral Areas) land can be searched on this interactive map. If your property is located within a TNRD municipality, please contact that municipality for voting information.

As an alternative to in-person voting, mail ballot voting is an easy and accessible option. All eligible TNRD voters can continue to access the electronic Mail Ballot Voting Application, by clicking here.

General Voting Day takes place on October 15, 2022 in six TNRD Electoral Areas, and there are several Advanced Voting Days between October 5 and 14, 2022. For all information related to the TNRD General Local Elections, please visit www.tnrd.ca/elections-2022/.
