A number of TNRD Eco-Depots and Transfer Stations will have summer hours extended by an additional month, until October 31, 2022. These Solid Waste facilities will now transition to winter hours each year beginning on November 1.
These changes were approved by the Board of Directors following a review of solid waste facility hours in 2021, which included a public survey that was completed by more than 700 residents. These additional hours will better reflect activities in these communities and help meet demand.
The extension of hours will affect the following TNRD solid waste facilities:
70 Mile Eco-Depot:
- Summer (Apr 1 – Oct 31): Monday – Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday, 8 am – 4 pm
- Winter (Nov 1 – Mar 31): Monday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm
Heffley Creek Eco-Depot:
- Summer (Apr 1 – Oct 31): Tuesday – Sunday, 8 am – 4 pm
- Winter (Nov 1 – Mar 31): Tuesday – Saturday, 8 am – 4 pm
Logan Lake Eco-Depot:
- Summer (Apr 1 – Oct 31): Tuesday – Sunday, 8 am – 4 pm
- Winter (Nov 1 – Mar 31): Tuesday – Saturday, 8 am – 4 pm
Loon Lake Transfer Station:
- Summer (Apr 1 – Oct 31): Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday, 9 am – 5 pm
- Winter (Nov 1 – Mar 31): Wednesday & Sunday, 9 am – 1 pm
Louis Creek Eco-Depot:
- Summer (Apr 1 – Oct 31): Tuesday – Sunday, 8 am – 4 pm
- Winter (Nov 1 – Mar 31): Tuesday – Saturday, 8 am – 4 pm
Paul Lake Transfer Station:
- Summer (Apr 1 – Oct 31): Tuesday, 6 am – 4 pm/ Thursday, Saturday & Sunday, 8 am – 6 pm
- Winter (Nov 1 – Mar 31): Tuesday, 6 am – 2 pm/ Thursday, Saturday & Sunday, 9 am – 5pm
Savona Transfer Station (year round hours):
- Monday & Thursday, 9 am – 5pm / Sunday, 8 am – 4 pm
