Commercial Farmers/ Ranchers:

If you are an agricultural producer on Evacuation Order or Alert and you require assistance to relocate commercial livestock, please contact the TNRD Emergency Operations Centre at 250-377-7188. There are a number of locations available for property owners to transport livestock.

Non-Commercial Farm Animals and Pets

  • TNRD Emergency Services: Find the status of Evacuation Orders and Alerts, the interactive Emergency Map, and recordings of any Public Information Meetings from the Emergency Operations Centre

  • BC Wildfire Service: Current wildfire activity, wildfires of note, fire danger ratings, fire bans and restrictions and more
  • Emergency Info BC: Verified information on partial or full-scale emergency events, and on response and recovery resources
  • DriveBC: Road conditions and events
  • Environment Canada: Daily forecasts for all B.C. weather stations and weather alerts
  • BC Hydro: Current power outages
  • Follow the TNRD on Facebook and Twitter for EOC updates when applicable
  • TNRD Wildfires webpage for information on what to do Before, During, and After a Wildfire, and links to FireSmart information

  • British Columbians wanting to make a financial donation to help those impacted by the B.C. fires can do so:
    • by contacting their local Canadian Red Cross office.
