Elections 2022 Mail Ballot Application

To receive a mail ballot package, completed applications must be received by the TNRD before 12 pm (noon) on Monday, October 3, 2022. Following receipt of the mail ballot, you are responsible for ensuring that your completed ballot is received in the Regional District office no later than 8 pm local time on Saturday, October 15, 2022. (Note: Mail ballots will not be sent out if an election is not being held in your Electoral Area).

Note: If you live within a municipality and are not a real property owner within a TNRD Electoral Area, you are not eligible to vote in a TNRD Local Election. Please contact your local municipality about voting options.

  • 18 years of age or older on General Voting Day (October 15, 2022)
  • a Canadian citizen
  • a resident of B.C. for at least six (6) months immediately before the day of registration
  • resident of the Electoral Area OR the non-resident owner of real property within the Electoral Area for at least 30 days before General Voting Day;
  • am not disqualified from voting in the election and am not otherwise disqualified by law
  • will not attend a voting place to vote again if I submit a mail ballot

Personal information contained on this form is collected under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act sections 26(a) and 26(c) and will be used only for the purpose of the mail ballot voting process for the 2022 General Local Election, pursuant to the Local Government Act section 110.
