Virtual Meeting Tuesday July 6, 2021 at 2 pm
An information meeting to provide an update on the status of the wildfires currently being experienced in the TNRD will be held via Zoom on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 2 pm.
Given that we are currently dealing with multiple fires in various parts of the Regional District and we have residents that are situated in various locations, we have determined that an online format is the best way to reach the public. This meeting will be available for the public to watch from wherever they are located and on their own device. For those unable to watch the meeting at 2 pm, it will be recorded and available for anyone to watch at a later time.
Representatives from the TNRD, BC Wildfire Management Branch, RCMP, Emergency Management BC and Canadian Red Cross have all been invited to attend the information meeting to provide information. Given the expected large audience for this online event, it is not possible to have questions asked at the event itself, however, attendees to the session are welcome to submit questions in advance that will be provided to presenters.
