The TNRD is seeking feedback from residents in Lower Nicola (Electoral Area “M”) who live along Aberdeen Road about the name of their road.
Recently, a process was initiated by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure to correct the name of Aberdeen Road to Aberdeen Mine Road, to resolve previous geographic information clerical issues. Since then, the TNRD has received feedback regarding proposed address changes for affected residents. After speaking with MOTI, this process was initiated to gain public input regarding the road’s name.
To provide feedback, local residents can visit: tnrd.ca/aberdeen. Alternately, a letter which includes the form has been sent by mail to property owners, who may choose to return the paper copy of the form by mail to the TNRD. Details for returning the form by mail are included in the letter.
