The Thompson-Nicola Regional District Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has cancelled a State of Local Emergency for Electoral Area “I” (Blue Sky Country), effective as of July 29, 2022 at 12 pm.
The State of Local Emergency due to wildfire was declared on July 15, 2022. There are no longer any addressed properties on Evacuation Order within Electoral Area “I,” due to this emergency, and prompt coordination of action or special regulation is no longer required to protect the health, safety or welfare of people or to limit damage to property.
