Evacuation Order – White Rock Lake Wildfire – Electoral Area “L” (Grasslands)

Please be advised that the 303 properties addressed which were previously on Evacuation Alert, are now on Evacuation Order which has been issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC). A wildfire event located in the vicinity of Westwold/Monte Lake is threatening structures and the safety of residents in Electoral Area “L” (Grasslands).

If you are in the described area, you must leave immediately.

Because of the potential danger to life and safety, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District has issued an evacuation order for the following 303 addressed properties:

• 2, 10, 515 and 525 Barnhartvale Rd;
• 1048 to 2179 Barnhartvale Rd;
• 2370 to 2912 Barnhartvale Rd;
• 9760 and 9940 Barnhartvale Rd;
• 1524 to 1659 Bostock Rd;
• 3461 to 5165 Campbell Range Rd;
• 3864 to 4745 Chase-Falkland Rd;
• 956 to 2160 Dallas Dr;
• 4545 to 4585 Demarni Rd;
• 3941 Duck Range Rd;
• 6265 to 6325 Eden Rd;
• 6828 to 6910 Faulk Rd;
• 3342 to 3625 Garrett Rd;
• 4080 to 4195 Gowan Rd;
• 2881 and 2930 Hanna Rd;
• 9052 to 9710 Hidden Vale Ranch Rd;
• 1257 to 2547 Hook Rd;
• 2600 to 3375 Hwy 97;
• 6459 to 6780 Karjula Rd;
• 1677 to 1685 Lute Rd;
• 3880 to 3946 Maddox Rd;

• 1121 to 1655 Watson-Larson Rd; and
• any properties with the boundary outlined on the attached map.

If you are in the described area, you must leave immediately.

If you have been evacuated due to wildfires, you should register with Emergency Support Services (ESS) whether you need the support or not. This will help ensure that your loved ones and communities know where you are and know that you’re safe.

If your primary residence has been evacuated you are eligible for Emergency Support Services (ESS).

Self-register online at ess.gov.bc.ca. If you require assistance with self-registration you can ask for help by calling the Emergency Support Services Info Line: 1-800-585-9559

Proceed to the nearest Reception Centre at McArthur Island Sports Centre located at 1655 Island Parkway in Kamloops to complete the ESS registration. The reception centre will be open until midnight and will reopen at 0900 hrs.

Tip: After you register, you may receive calls from unlisted numbers regarding your evacuee registration. Make sure your voicemail box is not full so ESS volunteers can leave a message.
