Evacuation Order Partially Downgraded to Alert – Sunshine Valley – Lytton Creek Wildfire – EA “IMN”

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has partially downgraded an Evacuation Order to an Evacuation Alert for the following 92 addressed properties;
• 2164 to 2500 Cleasby Rd;
• 3141 to 3700 Cummings Rd;
• 3725 to 3816 Davidson Rd;
• 3425 to 3455 D’Easum Rd;
• 3605 and 3685 Jack Swartz FSR;
• 2544 to 2972 Merritt-Spences Bridge Hwy 8;
• 2728 to 3901 Petit Creek Rd;
• 2857 to 3144 Prospect Creek FSR;
• 2708 to 3069 Sunshine Valley Rd;
• 2380 to 2577 Torgerson Rd; and
• other properties as outlined in orange on the attached map.
An Evacuation Order may need to be reissued; however, if that is deemed necessary, the Evacuation Order process will re-commence.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
• Fill the gas tank of personal vehicles;
• Bring a minimum of three days of food and essential supplies with you (e.g. medications, pet supplies) with you as local grocery stores may not yet have adequate stock.
Because of the potential danger to life and safety, an evacuation order remains in place for the following 17 addressed properties.
• 4900 to 5240 Dot Ranch Cut-Off Rd;
• 4141 FX Ranch Rd;
• 5260 to 6020 Manning Creek FSR;
• 5265 Merritt-Spences Bridge Hwy 8; and
• other properties as outlined in red on the attached map.
If you are in the described area, you must leave immediately.
