Evacuation Order Partially Downgraded to Alert – Brookmere – July Mountain Wildfire – EA N

Pursuant to Section 12 (1) of the BC Emergency Program Act, a new Evacuation Order and Alert has been issued by Chair Ken Gillis from the Thompson-Nicola Regional District at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in Kamloops.
The following 52 addressed properties highlighted in orange have been downgraded but remain on alert.
• 240 and 280 Busby Rd;
• 3400 to 3785 Cantlon Rd;
• 5780 and 6180 Coalmont Rd;
• 2761 to 3505 Coldwater Rd;
• 3040 to 3097 Figlenski Rd;
• 233 to 333 Gillis Rd;
• 6705 Juliette Dr;
• 440 to1185 Kane Valley Rd;
• 2973 and 2985 Kane Valley Rd; and
• other properties as outlined in orange on the attached map.
An Evacuation Order may need to be reissued; however, if that is deemed necessary, the Evacuation Order process will re-commence.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
• Fill the gas tank of personal vehicles;
• Bring a minimum of three days of food and essential supplies with you (e.g. medications, pet supplies) with you as local grocery stores may not yet have adequate stock.

Because of the potential danger to life and safety, an evacuation order remains in place for the following 83 addressed properties.
• 5815 Brookmere Rd;
• 872 to 933 Brookmere Station Rd;
• 905 to 920 Caboose Lane;
• 5340 to 5633 Coldwater Rd;
• 5135 to 5147 Conductor Way;
• 5120 to 5132 Engineer Ave;
• 5644 to 5868 Juliet Dr;
• 5105 to 5152 Railway Dr;
• 852 to 1016 Roundhouse Dr; and
• other properties as outlined in red on the attached map.
If you are in the described area, you must leave immediately.
