Evacuation Order Partially Downgraded to Alert – Bonaparte Lake – Sparks Lake Wildfire – EA “EOJ”

The Thompson-Nicola Regional District Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has partially downgraded an Evacuation Order to an Evacuation Alert for the following 19 properties addressed as:
• 5160 and 5450 Bonaparte Lake;
• 7888 and 8396 Clinton-Upper Loon Lake FSR;
• 9221 and 9593 Clinton-Upper Loon Lake FSR;
• 9425 Deadman-Vidette Rd;
• 3050 to 5040 Eagan-Bonaparte Lake FSR;
• 4010 and 4360 Jamieson-Spruce Grove FSR;
• 5200 Secret Lake; and
• any other properties identified on the attached map.

An Evacuation Order may need to be reissued; however, if that is deemed necessary, the Evacuation Order process will re-commence.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
• Fill the gas tank of personal vehicles;
• Bring a minimum of three days of food and essential supplies with you (e.g. medications, pet supplies) with you as local grocery stores may not yet have adequate stock.
