An Evacuation Order issued on August 15, 2021 has been partially downgraded to an Evacuation Alert by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC).

The following 166 addressed properties have been downgraded to an evacuation alert:
• 5160 to 6349 Beaton Rd;
• 5747 to 6452 Buckhorn Rd;
• 5840 to 5884 Cherry Rd;
• 728 and 733 Duffy Rd;
• 4715 to 4805 Foley Rd;
• 5844 to 6177 Gardi Rd;
• 1472 to 1905 Greenstone Rd;
• 5080 and 5096 Lazy Acres Rd;
• 5368 to 5960 Rodeo Dr;
• 8660 and 9900 Six Mile Hill Rd;
• 4420 Sugarloaf Rd;
• 4697 to 6628 Trans-Canada Hwy; and
• any other properties located within the area noted on the attached return to alert map.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
• Fill the gas tank of personal vehicles;
• Bring a minimum of three days of food and essential supplies with you (e.g. medications, pet supplies).
An Evacuation Order may need to be reissued; however, if that is deemed necessary, the Evacuation Order process will re-commence.
Because of the potential danger to life and safety, an evacuation order remains in place for any properties identified on the attached order map (highlighted in red).
