Evacuation Order – July Mountain Wildfire – Electoral Area “N”

An Evacuation Order has been issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District Emergency Operations Centre.

A wildfire event located in the vicinity of July Mountain is posing a threat to properties and safety in Electoral Area “N” (Beautiful Nicola Valley-South).

Because of the potential danger to life and safety, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District has issued an evacuation order for the following 98 addressed properties:

  • 5815 Brookmere Rd;
  • 872 to 933 Brookmere Station Rd;
  • 240 and 280 Busby Rd;
  • 905 to 920 Caboose Lane;
  • 3311 to 5633 Coldwater Rd;
  • 5135 to 5147 Conductor Way;
  • 5120 to 5132 Engineer Ave;
  • 3040 to 3097 Figlenski Rd;
  • 233 to 333 Gillis Rd;
  • 440 to 1185 Kane Valley Rd;
  • 5105 to 5152 Railway Dr;
  • 852 to 1016 Roundhouse Dr; and
  • other properties as identified on the attached map.

If you are in the described area, you must leave immediately.

If you have been evacuated due to wildfires, you should register with Emergency Support Services (ESS) whether you need the support or not. This will help ensure that your loved ones and communities know where you are and know that you’re safe.

If your primary residence has been evacuated we recommend you arrange to stay with friends or family. If you cannot stay with friends or family, please report to Chilliwack Senior Secondary School, 46363 Yale Rd, Chilliwack to complete the ESS registration. The reception centre will be open at 0830 hrs.

Emergency Support Services will only be provided if your primary residence is one of the properties under evacuation order.

Tip: After you register, you may receive calls from unlisted numbers regarding your evacuee registration. Make sure your voicemail box is not full so ESS volunteers can leave a message.
