Pursuant to Section 12 (1) of the BC Emergency Program Act, an Evacuation Order has been issued by Mayor Polderman from the Village of Lytton at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in Kamloops.

A fire event located within the Village of Lytton is threatening structures and the safety of residents within the municipality.

Because of the potential danger to life and safety, the Village of Lytton has issued an Evacuation Order for all properties in the Village of Lytton.

All residents are advised to leave the community and go to a safe location.  Information regarding Emergency Support Services will be announced as it becomes available.
