Evacuation Order Downgraded to All Clear – Flooding – Electoral Area “I” (Blue Sky Country)

Evacuation Orders issued by the Thompson-Nicola Regional District Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) on November 20, 2021 at 4 pm and March 16, 2022 at 4 pm have been lifted, effective as of November 24, 2022 at 12 pm.

The Evacuation Orders had been issued due to flooding, and have now been downgraded to All Clear for the following addressed properties (as identified on the attached map):

If it is deemed necessary to re-issue an Evacuation Order, the process of issuing an Evacuation Order would recommence.

A State of Local Emergency issued on November 16, 2021 due to flooding in Electoral Area “I” (Blue Sky Country) has now been cancelled by the EOC. This flood emergency no longer requires prompt coordination of action or special regulation to protect the health, safety or welfare of people or to limit damage to property.
