Pursuant to Section 12 (1) of the BC Emergency Program Act, an Evacuation Order has been issued by Chair Ken Gillis from the Thompson-Nicola Regional District at the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) in Kamloops.
A flooding event located in Area “N” (Beautiful Nicola Valley -South) is threatening structures and the safety of residents in the area.
Because of the potential danger to life and safety, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District has ordered everyone to evacuate the following 51 addressed properties as identified on the attached map:
• 872 to 933 Brookmere Station Rd;
• 905 to 920 Caboose Lane;9;
• 5541 to 5633 Coldwater Rd
• 5135 to 5147 Conductor Way;
• 5120 to 5132 Engineer Ave;
• 5105 to 5152 Railway Dr;
• 852 to 1016 Roundhouse Dr.
If you are in the described area, please leave immediately. To access Emergency Support Services please report to the Kamloops ESS Reception Centre: McArthur Island Sport Centre, 1655 Island Parkway.
