Evacuation Alert Rescind to All Clear – Deadman Vidette/Bonaparte Lake Area – Sparks Lake Wildfire – EA “JEO”

A portion of the Evacuation Alert in Electoral Area “E” (Bonaparte Plateau), Electoral Area “J” (Copper Desert Country), and Electoral Area “O” (Lower North Thompson), for 27 properties, have been rescinded to all clear as the threat of wildfire in the area no longer poses an imminent risk to the safety of residents.
The Alerts were put in place at 2200 hrs on June 29, 2021, 1300 hrs on June 30, and 1200 hrs on August 22, 2021 for the following properties addressed as: • 7824 to 10020 Deadman-Vidette Rd; • 6620 Jamieson-Spruce Grove FSR; • 4595 to 6481 Tranquille-Criss Creek Rd; and • any other properties identified on the attached map.
The properties highlighted in the yellow, as indicated on the map, remain on Evacuation Alert.
Should conditions change, an Evacuation Alert and / or Evacuation Order could be reinstated as necessary. Please contact the Emergency Operations Centre for further information or assistance.
