Evacuation Alert Partially Downgraded to All Clear – Tremont Creek Wildfire – EA “I”, “J” and “M”

A portion of the Evacuation Alerts in Electoral Area “I” (Blue Sky Country), Electoral Area “J” (Copper Desert Country), and Electoral Area “M” (Beautiful Nicola Valley-North) for 59 properties, have been rescinded to all clear as the threat of wildfire in the area no longer poses an imminent risk to the safety of residents.

The Alerts were put in place at 1830 hrs on July 30, 2021, and 1800 hrs on August 14, 2021 for the following 59 properties addressed as:
• 7020 to 7061 Brolin Rd;
• 8625 Chataway Lake;
• 6745 to 6833 Foley Rd;
• 6880 to 9865 Hwy 97C;
• 7297 and 7385 Rey Lake Rd;
• 9192 to 9196 Woodman Rd;
• any other properties located within the area noted on the attached map.

Should conditions change, an Evacuation Alert and / or Evacuation Order could be reinstated as necessary. Please contact the Emergency Operations Centre for further information or assistance.
