A current wildfire in Electoral Area “E” (Bonaparte Plateau) poses a threat to the structures and residents for 650 properties addressed as:
2345 Bluegoose Rd;
83 to 109 Boulder Rd;
4415 Clinton-Loon Lake FSR;
81 to 1400 Green Lake South Rd;
5564 to 5588 Green Lake-Jim Lake FSR;
1350 to 2253 Hutchison Rd;
1420 to 1475 Janzen Terr;
3480 to 3700 Little Green Lake Rd;
6820 Lost Valley Rd;
2440 McMahon Rd;
3640 to 6832 North Bonaparte Rd;
1 to 23 Point Rd;
2710 to 6664 Pressy Lake Rd;
6600 to 6680 Rayfield Rd;
2757 to 6525 Shore Crt;
115 to 169 South Crest Rd;
1410 to 1490 Thibert Rd; and
any other properties within the boundary noted on the attached map.
Because of this, the Thompson-Nicola Regional District has issued an Evacuation Alert for the properties within the area identified on the attached map, effective at 1800 hrs on July 14, 2021.
This Evacuation Alert has been issued to prepare you to evacuate your premises or property should it be found necessary. Residents will be given as much advance notice as possible prior to evacuation; however you may receive limited notice due to changing conditions.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
Locate all family members and designate a meeting area outside the evacuation area, should an Evacuation Order be called while separated.
Pack essential items such as government-issued ID, medications, eyeglasses, valuable papers (e.g. insurance, credit, and mortgage information), immediate care needs for dependents and, if time and space permits, keepsakes for quick departure.
Prepare to move disabled persons, children and/or neighbours, if assistance is needed.
Prepare to take pets with you and move livestock to a safe area (if possible).
Arrange transportation for all your household Fill the gas tanks of personal vehicles.
Arrange accommodation for all members of the residence, if possible.
Wait for an Evacuation Order to be issued before evacuating. Monitor for information on evacuation orders and location of Reception Centres.
