Recovery

Disposal has begun of spoiled fridges and freezers in the area of southwest Adams Lake, located in Electoral Area “P” (Rivers and the Peaks). Property owners were advised to place these spoiled items on the curbside during the morning before pickup at approximately 8 am. Similarly, curbside of collection in this area of the TNRD will also take place on September 11 and 13, at approximately 8 am on both of these days. Residents are asked not to leave items outdoors the night before pickup.

The TNRD has created an information package for residents of impacted properties for disposal of waste caused by the Bush Creek East wildfire, including fridge and freezer disposal. For more information, please view the Returning Home Disposal Information package.

The TNRD has prepared an information package that contains important information about returning home after an ordered evacuation and the threat of wildfire is over. Please click here for further details, which includes details regarding Fridge and Freezer Disposal.

A recovery manager is in place to support TNRD residents who have been evacuated due to wildfire and those who have had structures damaged or destroyed. If you have specific questions about recovery, contact tnrdrecovery@tnrd.ca.
