Sprayer Loan-Out Program

The TNRD has a fleet of sprayers specially designed for noxious weed control. There is also seeding equipment designed for replanting grass in disturbed areas. The TNRD has partnered with Purity Feed to offer an invasive plant sprayer loan-out to land owners. The following equipment is available for use free of charge:

• 4 Truck mount Sprayers
• 3 ATV mount Sprayers
• 2 Three point hitch sprayers
• 1 Backpack sprayer
• 1 Seeding Unit

Purity Feed staff will show you how to use the equipment properly and advise what herbicides would be most effective for each situation. The TNRD works with Purity Feed to provide a summer student who is available to do weed identification and treatment recommendations free of charge. All herbicide recommendations are overseen by the Purity Feed Professional Agrologist.

To book a sprayer contact Purity Feed Co. Ltd. to arrange for the pick-up/drop-off of the equipment from their Kamloops store. The equipment is in high demand; make sure to call or email well in advance to book your desired piece of equipment.
